WITH OVER 100 YEARS OF COMBINED EXPERIENCE WE KNOW OUR ONIONS WHEN IT COMES TO HVLS FANS
We’re AirMotion Sciences.
A Boston (MA) based family-run biz making 9 ft to 24 ft High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) fans which are generations ahead in efficiency and provide outstanding air movement in any big spaces.
We helped building other people’s business to make and market their HVLS fans before we thought ‘enough is enough, it’s about time we build ours.’ And now it's been over a decade we're doing that.
Our business is a passion shared by our family. The CEO of AirMotion Sciences is an industry veteran and brings enormous experience with him. We do the hard work to provide you with the most efficient air movement in your space. And we assure your satisfaction in purchasing a great product which is truly innovative, and technologically more advanced.
WE PASS THE BENEFITS OF A FAMILY-RUN BUSINESS ON TO YOU
Unlike the other big guys, you talk directly to our key company personnel thus assuring your happiness with the fans and the after-sales service. Or any issues that might get in the way.
Being a family-run biz we’ve an edge over our operational costs which enables us to price our fans affordably. Or provide much better value at a competitive price.
MEET THE FAM
As Founder and CEO of AirMotion Sciences, Peter Caruso brings enormous experience in senior level sales, marketing, and financial management gained throughout his diverse and very exciting career that spanned for over thirty years.
He has served as President for the US operations of Hummel International - a sportswear company based in Denmark, and as EVP & CFO for Puma USA.
Earlier in his career, Caruso was a Certified Public Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand (which became PwC by a merger in 1998) with a diverse client base; and had also served as President of two successful science-based education start-ups.
Prior to founding AirMotion, Caruso was engaged as President and CEO of MacroAir Technologies to build their business from inception to an international brand.
At AirMotion, Caruso's primary role is to make sure the company stays true to its core objective of providing Outstanding Air Movement and brings the best service and experience to its customers.
Caruso received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA and his MBA from Northeastern University, Boston, MA.
In his free time he loves messing about in boats.
PAMELA CARUSO ARIAS
Based in CO, Pam looks after the sales and marketing for AirMotion. She also takes key role in building customer relationship (through direct communications and dealer support) and brand awareness. And she does that all with a smile! :-)
Pam doesn't get much free time having the hours divided between her family and the family-business, but whenever she does she loves to spend that with her two school-going toddlers and their dad.
She earned her Bachelor's degree on science from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA.
PETER CARUSO JR
As a graduate from Stonehill College, Easton, MA and holding a bachelor's degree on Business Management up his sleeve, Peter Jr is bent on putting his hard earned education to better use in the family business. He takes all responsibilities for AirMotion's sales in the Northeast, and spends long learning hours in the manufacturing facilities to make his way up for a bigger role. And while doing so, Peter brings lots of verve and excitement to AirMotion's work ambiance.
In his early twenties, Peter is a dreamer; and loves to be lost in the streets of Boston when he's not working, or in his lacrosse team, or aboard the boat with our bossman Peter Caruso - his dad.
AND WE'VE GOT OUR BACK COVERED BY SOME OF THE BEST BRAINS
David is our VP of Engineering; and brings us to the 21st century innovations with design, development, and manufacturing.
He learned his craft at MIT, earning dual degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. And has a massive forty years of experience under his belt.
He spent a number of years at Arthur D. Little when companies, large and small, went to them to untangle their product design and functionality complications. If the ADL engineers like David couldn’t figure it out, no one could.
David always works. Always thinking of a better way. And AirMotion benefits!
Joe's the key man behind AirMotion big fans! He's always found applying his inventive brain and a whopping forty-five years of experience in engineering, design, and development (with expertise in electronic controls) in making our big fans even better.
He's educated in physics and engineering at Iowa State University, and held management, engineering, and consultancy positions at large US multinationals like Raytheon, and Rockwell International.
In his free time Joe likes to be a private pilot and a sailor.
Jack is our composite guru. He put in his more than thirty years of knowledge and experience in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and his special capability in the manufacture of composite materials, to give our Rotatair™ blades their shape.
He's also a sounding board for all our engineering and manufacturing hitches.
His noteworthy past projects include designing and overseeing building of the retractable roof of the Houston Astrodome, and managing a team at MIT engaged to design and build composite structures used in military satellites.
Jack loves spending his free time sailing, and keeping current with quantum mechanics. Yeah, he’s a rocket scientist!
